Dan O’Neill accepts a stained glass artwork on behalf of wife Martha and himself. The couple had the winning bid for the piece, shown here with artist Marti Hardy. Set at the historic World War I rifle target pit, the stained glass depicts a woodpecker and squirrel perched near the concrete wall. Hardy also presents a mosaic ceramic piece to Sidney Grove, standing in for Liz Granata, a local property owner who resides in New York. Proceeds from the raffle will go toward an engineering plan and stabilization of the structure, used for long-range target training. Once part of Fort Caswell, the range adjoins Oak Island Golf Course.
